Set within a 6,300 sqm natural landscape in Arambol, Goa, Itaiba is built to host retreats, workshops, and immersive experiences.
Surrounded by jungle and anchored by a vast banyan tree, the space offers a calm and grounded environment for meaningful gatherings.
Itaíba comes from the Tupi-Guarani language, where “ita” means stone and “íba” means tree or fruit.
In some traditional botanical uses, the word refers to the banyan tree: a tree whose roots descend to the earth and become new trunks, forming a living sanctuary.
Symbolically, Itaíba evokes strength and growth united: grounded like stone, alive like a tree, expanding while remaining deeply connected to its source.
Purpose-built spaces including yoga shalas, a vegetarian & vegan kitchen, a serene swimming pool, open land, and shared spaces designed for connection and group experiences.
Wooden huts, open air structures, and a natural setting that supports rest, practice, and connection.

EXCELLENT Based on 22 reviews Posted on Google Agastya KhuranaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A hidden gem in North Goa. I'll definitely be back.Posted on Google Purtika TutejaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Itaíba reminded me why I love slow travel. Instead of rushing around sightseeing, I was more than happy simply spending time here. My favourite spot was beneath the incredible banyan tree, where I spent hours with a coffee, writing, reflecting and watching the world gently pass by. It's a rare place that encourages you to reconnect with yourself and truly appreciate the present moment.Posted on Google Bhavya GargTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've visited retreat spaces in Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Costa Rica, and Itaíba has its own unique charm. Relaxed, genuine and beautifully connected to nature, it has a peaceful atmosphere that's hard to find. What really stood out was the warmth of everyone here, every person I met was genuinely happy to help and always greeted me with a smile. I'll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend Itaíba to anyone looking for somewhere truly special in North Goa.Posted on Google Harshit ChaudharyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've stayed at many retreat centres and this one has a warmth that's difficult to describe. It never feels commercial, just authentic.Posted on Google Anaya GargTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Some places are beautiful. Others make you feel peaceful. Itaíba somehow manages to be both.Posted on Google ashween kaurTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It had been months since I found somewhere quiet enough to write. I spent hours under the banyan tree with a coffee, listening to the birds and feeling completely at ease. Itaíba feels like one of those rare secret places you almost don't want to tell anyone about because part of its magic is how peaceful and unspoilt it feels. But at the same time, it's far too special to keep to yourself. If you're in North Goa and looking for somewhere beautiful to slow down, reconnect with nature and simply breathe, this little haven is absolutely worth discovering.Posted on Google Arshia MathurTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The buildings feel like they belong here rather than being placed here. Everything blends beautifully with the surrounding landscape, using natural materials and simple, thoughtful design. Nothing feels overdone or artificial. Every space has its own character while still feeling connected to nature. It's clear that a lot of care has gone into creating an environment that feels peaceful, authentic and welcoming. One of the most beautifully designed places I've visited in Goa.Posted on Google Arnav SachdevaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great vegetarian food, even better coffee! Highly reccommended!Posted on Google SaatvikTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The coffee was honestly some of the best I had during my trip through India. Sitting with a flat white while listening to the birds every morning became my favourite ritual.Posted on Google Harsha GhildiyalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You immediately feel the positive energy when you walk through the gates. There’s a peaceful, creative atmosphere unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed. Surrounded by lush greenery and birdsong, it’s the kind of place that encourages you to slow down and simply be present. Whether you’re enjoying a coffee, reading a book by the pool or sharing a meal with new friends, everything feels calm, welcoming and thoughtfully created. I left feeling completely refreshed and already planning my return.
